Exclusive use ONLY Abernethy Bunkhouses provide an ideal and safe location as a base for school trips. Situated under one roof pupils can be well supervised. The variety and size of rooms enable the whole group to work together or split into smaller work teams.
In the centre of the Cairngorms National Park there is easy access to all forms of outdoor pursuits. There are simple walks on marked village footpaths, a ranger base, tigers, steam railway, Landmark Forest Park, watersports and many other activities.
Our many activity partners and local attractions can help take the hard work out of planning your expedition.

There are single rooms for the staff and a couple of 2 person rooms upstairs allowing staff to be near the pupils if they wish.
Many schools actually enjoy self-catering as they have the kitchen to themselves and it is all part of the trip but we can take the worry off your shoulders, if you wish!
